"A frustrating start with not much actual guidance"
I was expecting the onboarding to be a lot smoother, especially considering how much we paid for this. The whole setup process felt kind of all over the place, and the training seemed like it was rushed through just to check a box rather than actually making sure we understood anything. I’m still sitting here not really knowing how to use a bunch of the features, which is frustrating because that was the whole point of getting help in the first place. When I reached out to support, they mostly just sent over links to articles, which might be fine for small questions, but it really didn’t solve the bigger issue. I needed someone to actually walk me through things or explain how it all fits together. Overall, it just felt like once the payment was made, the real support wasn’t there.

"Made Dinner Way More Stressful Than Expected"
I tried a few recipes from Thermomix, it wasn’t a great experience for me. The soup came out way too watery, the dough didn’t rise properly, and the rice ended up kind of mushy. I really thought it would make cooking easier, but instead I was standing there stressed out trying to fix everything last minute. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it just added a bunch of unexpected hassle to dinner

"Frustrating delivery experience"
I ordered this weeks ago, and the delivery date kept getting pushed back with almost no clear updates. Every time I reached out to customer support, I just got vague answers that didn’t really help. For something this expensive, I expected a much smoother experience, so the whole thing left a bad impression

"Still waiting on warranty support"
I didn’t think getting warranty help would be this frustrating, but here I am three weeks later still waiting. I’ve followed up, checked my email way too many times, and nothing has really moved forward. It’s kind of wild because I’ve had faster responses from random shops on Etsy, and one time I waited less for a replacement part for my coffee maker. Anyway, the product had an issue, I reached out, and now it just feels like I’m stuck in limbo. Not a great experience

"I wanted to love my Thermomix, and..."
I wanted to love my Thermomix, and maybe I’m only remembering the stressful parts now, but it didn’t feel dependable to me. It threw error messages a few times, and one time it actually shut off in the middle of cooking while the bowl was still hot. I also remember the lid not feeling fully locked a couple of times, which made me uneasy. For something this expensive, I expected it to feel a lot safer and more reliable. Support took longer than I hoped too, which didn’t help.

"Getting replacement parts is way too frustrating"
I needed a replacement part and I have been waiting what feels like forever. It really should not be this difficult to get something simple sorted out. Disappointing experience overall.

"I don’t feel like my Thermomix was..."
I don’t feel like my Thermomix was worth the money. It keeps overheating, and even basic dough seems to make the blades struggle, which is frustrating for something this expensive. I contacted support and they just told me to reset it, but that didn’t change anything. At this point I’m keeping records of everything in case I need to push for a repair or refund. Really wish I’d stuck with my old mixer.

"Too bulky for my counter"
I really wanted to love my Thermomix, but it takes up more counter space than I expected. My kitchen isn’t tiny, but it’s not huge either, and this thing just feels like it’s always sitting right in the way.

Since I don’t use it every day, it makes me a little nervous having such a pricey appliance out all the time where it could get bumped, splashed, or knocked around. I usually end up moving other things just to make space for it, which gets old fast.

If you have a big kitchen with plenty of open counter space, it might not bother you. But for a normal kitchen setup, I’d definitely think carefully about where it’s going to live before buying one.

"Refund Never Showed Up"
They accepted my return, but the refund never came through. Maybe I’m a little biased because I already get frustrated when companies take forever with refunds, but this really annoyed me. I did my part and sent it back, so I expected the money to be handled without me having to chase it.

"Cookidoo has been really frustrating"
Cookidoo is a big part of why I’m regretting buying this. The app randomly logs me out, recipes don’t always show up on my thermomix, and the search just feels off somehow. I’m paying for the subscription, but half the time it feels like I’m messing around with that instead of actually cooking. For something this expensive, it should just work. Support took ages to get back to me too, which didn’t help. Disappointed overall.

"Not the time-saver I hoped for"
I bought the Thermomix thinking it was going to make cooking faster and easier, but it’s been kind of frustrating. Between chopping and prepping everything, waiting through all the little guided steps, then cleaning the bowl and all the parts afterwards, I feel like I’m being forced to be patient when I could’ve just cooked the meal myself in less time. Some recipes drag on way longer than they should and feel unnecessarily fiddly. For something this expensive, I really expected it to save me a lot more time. Disappointed overall

"Financing felt like a bait and switch"
I was ready to buy and planned to use the financing option they were promoting, but it just kept failing over and over. When I reached out to support, they basically sent me in circles without actually fixing anything. It started to feel like a bait and switch, the financing sounded easy upfront, but when it was time to check out, it was a total mess. I ended up giving up on the purchase.

"My gut says the bowl just isn’t big enough"
I do like a lot of things about the Thermomix, but my gut feeling is that the bowl is just too small for how we cook. With a family, I keep ending up having to make things in batches, which gets old fast. For what it costs, I really expected it to hold more. It’s not a bad machine at all, but for us, it just doesn’t feel practical.

"I thought the Thermomix was going to make..."
I thought the Thermomix was going to make my life easier, but wow, it felt like I needed a training course just to make dinner. The menus were way more confusing than I expected, setup took forever, and I kept stopping to look up guides for the most basic things. For something this expensive, I expected it to be super simple, not have me questioning all my life choices in the kitchen

"Works fine, but cleanup is a pain"
It works okay overall, but the cleanup gets annoying fast. Anytime I use it for anything sticky, I feel like I have to spend way too much time scrubbing the bowl and blades. It’s not terrible, but the maintenance feels a little too fussy for something I’d want to use every day

"Started rattling sooner than I expected"
I’ve only had my Thermomix for a few months and it’s already started making this rattling noise when it runs. The lid also feels a bit loose, which doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. For the price, I really thought the build would feel more solid... kinda disappointing, honestly.

"Latest update messed up my dinner plans"
I’m so fed up with these Thermomix updates. I had dinner planned and just wanted to get started, but after the last update it logged me out, froze twice, and everything felt slower than before. Every time they “improve” something, I end up standing there trying to figure out what changed instead of actually cooking. For how expensive this machine is, it’s really frustrating. I just want it to work the way it used to and not ruin my plans with more problems.

"Way too expensive for what I got"
I don’t see how the Thermomix justifies the price, at least not for me. It does a bunch of things, sure, but I kept expecting to feel impressed enough to forget how much I paid, and that never really happened.
For that kind of money, I thought it would make my life way easier and replace a lot more of the stuff in my kitchen. But I still find myself reaching for my pans, using the oven, and pulling out other tools, so it doesn’t feel like it changed my routine as much as I wanted.

To me, it feels more like an expensive gadget than something that was actually worth the investment. I’m sure other people get tons of use out of it, but personally, I regret spending that much on it.

"Keeps proving my doubts about the connection right"
When the app actually stays connected to my Thermomix, it works really well. But it drops the connection so often that it’s hard not to feel like this is exactly what I expected from a “smart” kitchen app. Every time it cuts out, it just confirms my suspicion that the connection isn’t reliable enough. Frustrating.

"I tried following one of the recipes for…"
I tried following one of the recipes for dinner, but the steps didn’t make much sense and I ended up wasting the whole meal. I’m not sure if I missed something or if the instructions were just poorly written. Did anyone else run into the same issue?
